Blood health
Blood health concerns:
Our red blood cells that travel throughout our body, the RBC’s transport oxygen, which is life sustaining. Our white blood cells (WBC) are present to fight infections and allergies. Out thrombocytes (platelets) are responsible for coagulation. That is when everything is normal. However when things go awry, and our normal cells become abnormal and multiply, that is when life threatening situations arise.
For example, an embolism is a sudden blocking of a blood vessel. It may be a blood clot, a fat globule, a gas bubble, a mass of bacteria or simply a foreign object. An embosism is one of the main causes of a stroke. This causes the blood supply to be cut off to an area of the brain , therefore causing brain cells to be deprived of oxygen and nutrients. The same can happen to an arm or leg and result in gangrene. When a clot lodges in the lungs, it is called a pulmonary embolism. Poor circulation can also lead to an embolism.
Symptoms can vary from a stoke, paralysis of one side of the body, or numbness.
Enzymes break up the clot or foreign particle without causing a blockage of the blood vessel, and the fibrin formation.
