There are some basic things to do:
To begin with, keep a positive outlook, everything tends to be simpler after that. Drink enough water (the amount of water calculated is besides the tea and coffee, juice, alcohol, soup or other beverages that are liquid , but not considered simply healthy water), and choose to drink in between meals, not with your meal (drinking during meals dilutes gastric juices), do exercise and eat healthy and simply.
For meals, I recommend variety. Proteins should be included with every meal and snack, whether it’s legumes, eggs, fish, or other vegetable proteins if you are vegetarian, or why not simply a protein shake or smoothie. Seaweed is a good source of protein that is often forgotten. Choose whole grains (for example brown rice instead of white rice, quinoa pastas instead of regular pasta), a variety of vegetables (play a game with your children and explore a new vegetable and a new recipe), consider different types of squash, choose sweet potatoes or yams instead of traditional white potatoes, and why not make a cashew sauce instead of the traditional gravy? Choose millet or other whole grain instead of regular potatoes or pasta.
Fresh vegetable juicing increases the amount of fresh raw vegetable in your diet and they only take 15 minutes to digest! Choose some bitter vegetables for better digestion like endives, watercress, radicchio, rappini and others.
Until next time, wishing you good health!
